Handyman services - Installing a ceiling fan in Torrance

We removed a faulty light fixture in the living room of a Torrance residence and replaced it with a state of the art ceiling fan with a remote control switch.

The existing wiring did not use a junction box. We installed a new metal junction box and secured it to the joists with a ceiling fan support bar.

The edge of the junction box needed to be aligned flush with the ceiling for a proper fit.

Finally, we wired and mounted the fan and light assembly, installed the remote controlled switch and installed a new switch cover.
